Vintage thick&big antique rare military noise generator neon filled tube GSh-3

Rare NOS lamp that was used in military in ex-USSR and denied to export. Now this tubes are antique and can be great decor or collection example.

Photo made with Tesla coil. Can glow it also with neon transformer.

Also using a plasma-ball 1-pin HV output can make sound react tube that glow in tact of music or voice. Dimension: 550x18 mm, filled 100% neon gas, glow pure orange-red more close to red.

The gas-discharge noise generator GSh-3 is designed to convert the energy of a current source into the energy of electromagnetic oscillations. The operating range is from 1700 MHz to 3300 MHz.

Filament voltage - from 10.3 V to 12.6 V. Anode voltage: 200-350V (average: 270V). Filament amperage: 0.6-1.4mA. Spectral power density of noise at a wave of 13.5 cm: 55-70 Jm3/m.

In anode circuit must be connected ballast resistor not less than 1000 Ohm. On the last photo you can see translated pinout scheme.
