Vintage old wood antique tube radio Crosley Fiver Deluxe Mdl 517 Restored

Just completed the restoration of this beautiful highly collectable 1938 Crosley tube radio. This the Crosley "Fiver Deluxe" model 517 table model. It is 13" long x 8" tall x 7 deep.

The radio's cabinet is refinished and has wonderful Walnut wood grains, and colors. The radio has rounded corners, and a very nice top.

The three original knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. The classic eye catching "Mirrored" dial face and white pointer are very nice and the pointer works as required. The brass dial bezel has been cleaned, polished, and resealed.

There is a new Dial Lamp, new AC Power Cord, new speaker grill cloth, and new Audio/Filter Capacitors. Chassis cleaned, all tubes tested, and the remainder of the components tested/adjusted and replaced if needed. Speaker provides excellent projection, tones, and clarity. This little radio has an Antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio which will required a few feet of wire to be attached for proper reception and performance. Reception and performance will depend on your location, antenna length, and signal strength. Excellent player here with no issues. This radio would look wonderful in you office or home on display.
