It was made by, "Hotpoint" circa 1953 (see last photo). The stove is 100% complete.
It even has it's original cooking trays & thermometer which are in excellent condition (message us for a photo). The previous owners wanted to get a smaller stove, and that's why we have the stove. It's not because there is anything wrong with it.
We bought the stove back in 2011 with the intention of fixing the missing porcelain near the inner edge, of one of the doors. Since then we moved twice and a couple of months ago, one of the forklift operators in the warehouse we rent, accidentally backed into some of our furniture. We weren't there to see how it happened, but several of our pieces were pushed into each other, and the stove was in the corner of the pileup, which is why the dent is so moderate. Now, there is porcelain missing on the other door (on the outer edge) and there is a scratch spanning across the door. We took that as a sign to forget about waiting to stumble upon someone who could fix the porcelain and finally put the stove online.
We haven't tested the stove since 2011 and we are unable to test in our current space. The best information that we could offer, is that it has always been indoors between in a temperature of 40 - 65 degrees. Which is why it looks so clean and with such little rust. Even the plug shows little oxidation. We wiped it down with a damp cloth prior to taking the photos, but it could still use a good cleaning to bring out the true beauty of the porcelain.
It's a shame about the missing porcelain, but aside to re-porcelainizing the doors, there are skilled painters or craftsmen who could sand, apply sometime of compound and paint it to look fairly indistinguishable. Other than the dent, the stove is in great structural condition and free of serious flaws like breaks, cracks, weak or frayed wires, etc. 99% of the chrome plating is intact. The cast iron burners are in fantastic condition.
The interior is very clean; it hasn't been used in decades. The power cable's old, rubber casing is completely intact and in excellent condition. 39"W x 26"D x 36"H (to stove top) & 49"H (to top of backsplash).
