Up for sale very fantastic, rare & collectibles mughal Indo-Persian rajput Maratha basket hilt straight blade khanda sword late mughal era south Indian sword for Maharashtra area. The blade is genuine iron steel light weight blade. Blade is in original condition with pitting & patina. Probably a high quality fighting blade dating from the nineteenth century. Straight blade Single edge blade, and little rust can been seen on blade or sword hilt. And sword hilt has without damascened work and it's bigger size hilt backside have small spike with damage but not breakable. And it has wide knuckle guard. It have fine detail engraving work on it. If you want to see the detail picture i can provide to you directly. The grip would comfortably fit a full, big hand size. A very good piece for beginner's collection. Overall weight :----- 0.980 kg. Overall sword length :--- 46/ 117 cm.
