Sword slide is a fine and we believe rare example that we believe dates to Ming dynasty period. The slide guard is carved of a unique prominently light pale green gray jade with subtle. Green/blue and brown natural jade accents. The guard fitting has a great design with archaic floral leaf figure scrolls in high relief. The slide is in fine estate-fresh condition with no damage as seen. Outside dimensions are 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide by 1/2 of an inch thick. Antique real jade old hand made and hand carved is true high quality craftsmanship all around. Fine velvet semi translucent jade.
