RARE Antique Old 1900s DRAPER MAYNARD Vintage FLAT TOP Canvas Football Helmet

Up for sale is a RARE Antique very early 1900s vintage football FLAT TOP helmet canvas (see Draper & Maynard Lucky Dog logo stamped on the exterior three panel canvas tightly stitched beaut and includes original canvas chin strap AND Model number of 4H - see several photos from different angles and site lines) - wow!!!!!! This old antique vintage mustard green canvas THREE tiered FLAT TOP Circa football helmet from the very early 1900s has its full wool lining complete and intact and is tightly and thought. The top of the flat top has its offsetting leather lining which is complete and tightly stitched with fine white stitching (see close up photos). The exterior target top style has 12 factory punches ventilation holes and as see - very fine tight stitching - interior circular is split into four sections and has the two outer circles tightly sewn and intact.

Side ear flaps are tightly stitched and intact and are reinforced with the thick white wool lining and interior leather forehead wrap!! This unique old flat top ball helmet dates to approx 1910 - 1915. Measurements of this neat old antique rare flat top canvas three tier D & M football gridiron weapon is: 9.25 inches from interior forehead leather to backside of the helmet wool and from the top of the flat top to the bottom of the canvas floppy dog ear style flap - 7.5 inches measure to adult small to Jr.

Large - display great and includes the wooden stand built specific for this old beaut! The exterior is all thick CANVAS three panel FLAT TOP which remains in OVERALL very nice condition and for close to 100-015 plus years old. The interior is a very thick white wool lining and is 100% complete and fully intact as photoed. This fantastic antique FLAT TOP football helmet remains in very nice game used condition and is a true rarity and would make a great centerpiece to any sports collection or for that special football fanatic - INCLUDES well constructed wood stand!
