Old Turkish Kilim Rug, shabby chic, vintage, wool country home decor. Beautiful Turkish Kilim, made in the 1960s this is a lovely southern Turkish rug, woven with thick naturally brown wool base with repeating zigzag pattern. Surface colours are muted with age but you can still see the brilliantly vibrant colours on the reverse of the rug and some of this shows through the weave and gives it a speckled effect. There are couple of small defects to the top layer of wool, please see photos, none of those are holes, just the surface wool is broken.
