Old Antique Vtg 19th C 1810s Portrait Miniature of Lady Very Nice Brooch Setting

This offering is for an antique portrait miniature of a young woman. The overall size is app. 1.5" by 1.75" and the brooch setting appears original to the painting. The painting was executed in a very delicate, almost wispy manner, giving the impression that it is incomplete.

However, I think this was intentional by the artist. There are no cracks or breaks and the artwork is in very nice condition. There is a place on the back for wearing it on a chain as well as a locket. A small piece of chain remains attached to the necklace mount.
