Locre La Courtille Paris Purple Red Gold Floral Breakfast Cup & Saucer 1773-1824

Nice large porcelain breakfast cup and saucer. Decorated with a band of hand painted purple flowers with a red stem and gold leaves. Has a band of gold gilding below the flowers and gold gilding along the rim. Has a blue crossed arrow / torch mark used by Jean-Baptiste Locre near Paris at La Courtille, France. Please note: The last picture depicts this cup next to a normal coffee cup to show the difference in the size.

This smaller cup is not included in this listing. Has a small discolored hairline extending off the edge of the saucer, but otherwise excellent condition. The cup measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 3 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 6 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
