Enterprise MFG Company No. 1 Coffee Grinder Mill Old Antique Vintage Circa 1898
Up for your consideration is a beautiful antique Enterprise No. This mill has been fully restored and every detail has been addressed to match the original design. The grinder was manufactured circa 1898 and is constructed of cast iron.
This model is very collectible and a sought after by collectors. Everything functions properly just like it did when it was new. The restoration process was quite extensive and thorough. This mill was repainted many times over the years and was in dire need of being brought back to life.
The entire mill was stripped down to metal, removing many layers of paint. Once the mill was completely cleaned, everything was properly prepared for painting. Several coats of hand sanded primer was applied to add years of protection. Five coats of hand rubbed black lacquer was also applied. Once the paint cured, all gold accents were applied. The final touch to the restoration was the application of over 20 custom made decals. These decals are my designs and they are accurate replicas of the originals used on this type of grinder. The wood base and drawer knob was replaced. The adjustment screw, crank handle, and all other hardware is original. The end result is a stunning one of a kind functioning antique that will bring many years of enjoyment. This small grinder is the perfect size. It measures 12 3/4 tall, has a metal catch drawer and the lid swings open on a mounted fixed pin. The base measures 7" x 7".This mill is the perfect size to display in your kitchen, on a table or on a shelf. Please Note: This is a proper restoration. All the colors, decal designs, gold accents, hardware, wood base, and handle resemble the way they would have been in the 1800's.
This is a top of the line restoration. There are countless hours of work invested into this piece. Everything on this grinder works as originally intended.No corners were cut during the refurbishment process. This grinder has lasted more than 120 years and now it is ready for many more years of enjoyment.
