Here is a great mid century modern period floor lamp. Stands just over 38 tall. This is a hard plastic like white cylinder covered with a green fabric which is original. There is a threaded switch at the bottom (you can get to when removing the cylinder) that I had to turn with a set of pliers to switch on. I have left it on the last setting which is where both bulbs stay lit. They have 2 other setting where just the top or just the bottom will stay lit. I believe it had a rod outside of the base at one point but it isnt there anymore. I leave it plugged in when using then just unplug. It wouldnt be hard to make a piece that could work for it if that bothers you. It hasnt been cleaned or dusted and is exactly as found from a midcentury estate.
