This is finely rendered and very realistic Antique Vintage Old Mid Century German Shephard Dog Oil Painting on canvas, depicting a very detailed and lifelike portrait of a purebred German Shepherd dog. This work is signed: "Laurent Guillaume" in the lower right corner. I could not find any information on this painter, but perhaps you know more about him or his work?

Approximately 21 x 25 inches including frame. Actual artwork is approximately 16 x 20 inches. This painting likely dates to the 1950's - 1960's. Very good condition for age, with some light scuffing and edge wear to the original period gilded frame please see photos. This lovely painting would be the topic of conversation in any dog lover's home.
