Necklace made of large genuine wild boar tusks and silver metal. Length of necklace measures 37 1/2 (end to end, tusks and cord). Necklace features two tusks mounted to metal tips with bail loops. Tusks joined at center by floral etched metal band. Rectangular band measures 1 1/2" in length and 1" in width.Tusks measure 1/2 in thickness (adjacent to band). Width between left and right outer edges of tusks measures 6 3/4 (view photo 12). Inner curve of necklace measures 13 1/4 in length (bail loop to bail loop). Outer curve of necklace measures 16 5/8 in length (bail loop to bail loop).
Circa late 19th century - early 20th century (tusks and metal). Tan dyed genuine leather 1 mm cord non original, added by shop owner. Necklace weighs 112 Grams (heavyweight). Back of band features bracket for connecting additional amulet.
Metal and tusks in fair condition (age cracks and discoloration on tusks, scratches, dents, and dark tarnish on metal). Right tusk slightly moves outward from metal band. Three of four nails missing from tusks. Necklace gently cleaned by shop owner.Measurements and weight are approximate. Allow for minor color variations. Necklace in smoke free and pet free location.
