Antique Galvanometer mounted on a phenolic base with brass binding posts and brass feet under a glass dome. The meter table is made of wood painted black, the meter scale is made of paper, support for the loop is made of brass and the wire coils appear to be green silk cover insulation on the loop support. Bubbles in glass dome are a testament to the period of glass production. The needle or indicator is a modern replacement.
