32"x82.5"x1.75 Antique Side or Back Door w/6 Windows & 4 Panels. Gorgeous, antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or pine. It's painted white on the front and stained and finished on the back. Today, "pine" is known as a cheap, weak, soft wood.

New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Has a lovely arrangement of 6 true-divided windows, each with its original, beveled glass.

There are 4 raised panels below the windows. Hardware : The door is not equipped with any hardware.

The door's height was unevenly cut by 1/4 at some point, most likely to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. Considering that the door is 80 - 100 years old, it's in excellent condition.

The typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door, but no breaks, cracks, gouges, warp, rot, or any serious breaks. Sanded for a new coat of paint, or stripped to refinish, most of the blemishes would be removed. What remains will be covered by paint or stain, and only appear a character mark. All of the glass is intact and also in great shape with only light scratches. We could refinish or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. Swing : The door is set up to swing into the home towards the left.

We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace glass with screen, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Door : 31 7/8 " x 82 3/8 " - 82 5/8 " x 1 3/ 4 ".
