26"x76" Vintage Solid Wood Interior Door w/5 Flat Panels. Please note that the dimensions in the title are rounded. Handsome, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern PA. It's made of either solid Douglas Fir or pine and has a 5, recessed (flat), stacked panel design.

When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware : No hardware included, h. The width was unevenly by 3/8.

The cut was most likely made to compensate for the home's settling foundation or a warped floor. Condition : The door is strong, sturdy, and in great structural condition. It has nicks, scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes which you would expect to find on old, used doors. However, most of these blemishes. Will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, character marks.

Refinish/Repaint : We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. We have hundreds of photos of doors we've worked on over the years for reference. Is set up to swing into a room, towards the right.
