24"x77" Antique Victorian Wood Door w/4 Panels. Antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeast PA. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or white pine and is painted on both sides. It has a traditional, Arts & Crafts style 2 recessed (flat) panel design. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have.

Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware : The door is not equipped with any hardware. Considering the door's age, it's in good condition. The typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door.

A portion of the upper panel's molding on the interior side broke and some of the wood of the lock stile broke off too (see last photo). There is no warp, rot, or serious breaks or cracks. Sanded for a new coat of paint, or stripped to refinish, most of the blemishes would be removed. What remains will be covered by paint or stain, and only appear as a character mark. We could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the doors to prepare any of them for you to repaint or refinish.

Swing : The door is set up to swing into the room towards the left or outwardly towards the right. We could also modify this door to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, replace panels with glass, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. 23 7/8 " x 77 1/4 " x 1 3/8.
