Vintage old wood antique tube radio Philco mdl 40-125 Just Restored

Just completed the restoration of this beautiful highly collectable 1939 Philco tube radio. This the Philco model 40-125. It is a "put anywhere" size of 12.5" long x 7.75" tall x 5.5 deep.

The radio's cabinet is refinished and has wonderful wood grains, colors, and maple inlays. The radio has rounded corners, nicely designed speaker grill, and a beautiful top. The three original "Bullet" style knobs have been cleaned, polished, and resealed. The dial face and pointer are very nice and the pointer works as required. There are 6 push buttons that can be adjusted to your local stations via the individual trimmers in the rear of the radio.

The brass Station Call Letter bracket has been polished and new Call Letters have been installed. Also, the original rear cover is present. There is a new dial cover, new Dial Lamp, new AC Power Cord, new speaker grill cloth, and new Audio/Filter Capacitors. Chassis cleaned, all tubes tested, and the remainder of the components tested/adjusted and replaced if needed. Speaker provides excellent projection, tones, and clarity.

This little radio has a built in "Loop" Antenna which receives stations across the dial. Excellent player here with no issues.
