Nice decorative antique newel post. It is topped with a great finial. It is made out of pine. The original finish is chippy ivory white painted.

It is a salvaged piece so expect to find nails, nail holes, and small chunks missing. The bottom block is somewhat soft and may need to be repaired or replaced.
